Linda also works closely with national and international conservation organizations to link recreationists like climbers to mountain protection projects. Learn more about Linda and her work around the world to protect mountains by creating "citizen-scientists".
Tom McMillan - Co-Founder
Expert rock climber, mountaineer and software developer who stood on the summit of Chomolungma (Mount Everest) with his friend Nawang Sherpa on the clear and calm morning of May 16, 2004. Tom was instrumental in enabling Nawang to have his "once in a lifetime" chance to climb Everest. He has climbed two of the world's highest peaks, Chomolungma (Mount Everest) and Manaslu (with Nawang's mountain guide brother, Ang Dawa Sherpa) on his first attempt.
Tom also excels at ice climbing and all aspects of rock climbing, including spending ten days or more climbing the most difficult aid-climbing routes on El Capitan in Yosemite Valley. Tom has also free-climbed (with ropes) El Capitan's 3,000 ft face in a day with friends. Tom contributes mountaineering and mountain sports advice plus logistics and technical support for ENABLED SPORTS.
